Valued Chapter Membership & Community, we gladly invite you to join us for our upcoming Monthly Meeting featuring a facilitated group discussion on one of the most common—and consequential—decisions in physical security management:
Proprietary vs. Contract Security Guard Forces: Pros, Cons, and Practical Considerations
Organizations across sectors continue to evaluate whether in‑house (proprietary) security, contract guard services, or a hybrid model best supports their risk profile, culture, and operational needs. This interactive session will explore the advantages and challenges of each approach through peer discussion and shared experiences.
Discussion topics will include:
- Control, culture, and standards
- Cost, scalability, and workforce availability
- Training, accountability, and performance oversight
- Where hybrid models make sense
- Key factors to consider when evaluating or changing guard force models
This session is designed to encourage open dialogue among security professionals—there will be no sales pitches, just practical insights from peers facing similar challenges.
